Macro

Macro is devoted to the intimate scale of details that often go unnoticed. Petals, pollen, droplets, insects, and the inner structures of flowers become distinct worlds of precise pattern, color, and tactility. These photographs slow the eye and reshape the familiar. At close range, natural detail becomes almost abstract: line, surface, and shallow depth of field create concentrated images with a powerful visual center.

A tightly framed abstract study presents densely packed vertical bands in crimson, ruby, burgundy, fuchsia, and muted copper. Narrow tonal shifts travel through the woven surface, creating a sense of measured movement from top to bottom. Fine threads catch the light in scattered glints, revealing subtle irregularities beneath the dominant red palette. Occasional pale channels interrupt the richer fields, adding contrast and preventing the composition from settling into simple repetition.
